Start being conscious of everything

Purchasing Perspectives
One of the many ways in which we are all tied together is through food.
Farmers and beekeepers are both extremely necessary people on our planet. We rely so heavily on them for all of our food production. If you haven't already, start supporting these two types of people in your local farmers markets when you grocery shop.

Plants
Any plants you purchase should be organic and non-gmo certified. GMO seeds are not recommended. As your local nursery for organic seeds, soils, or plants.

Poisons
Chemical sprays and poisons should not be used around your house if you are trying help save the bees. Animals and insects have a much higher sense of taste, smell, etc. Insects like the bees pick up on smells in the parts-per-billion.

How to help from home.

We humans just feel better outside. We feel relaxed when surrounded by nature.
Our home is like our sanctuary, its where we go after work every day to unwind and live.
These are some basic ideas that are quick, free, and fun. These practices can have incredible impacts with bees and other wildlife in your area

This is all mutually beneficial to you in ways of relaxation and appreciation of happy wildlife.
s you do these things around your yard, here is what you can expect. Each creature who visits your home will communicate with other members of their species. The more different visitors come to your yard, the more noise will be projected and calling to each other can be really calming as they collectively drown out typical property noises in neighborhoods.

1. Put out a fresh water source daily.
Fresh clean water will increase wildlife activity greatly and draw animals and insects of all types during their creaturely day. Bees need a different kind of care when it comes to their water source. Different from your typical birdbath or other deep water sources, bees need a shallow, pebble filled water source so they can land and crawl out and not drown. Most any rocks, marbles, or stones will do. The important thing is landing space and a way out and the water is always fresh.

2. Plant a plant or a garden.
Gardens allow animals and insects visiting your home some food and shelter from the elements and predators. Planting is something you can do one plant at a time, or make a project from it.
There are many types of flowers which can help the most amount of species. Any nursery will have seeds or plants for sale. We advise for the health of all plants, soil, and wildlife, that you only obtain organic based soils, plants, and seeds. If you have used chemicals in the soils of your yard or don't know if the previous owners did, do not grow your yard! Purchase organic soil and keep your organic plants in pots or a separate bin.

Wildlife
Aside from an increase of beatuiful buzzing air traffic from the bees, bird can be easy to attract simply by putting bird seed. This can attract all sorts of different types of birds and squirrels.   With everything you do, be conscious in placement of foods so as not to attract unwanted animals or pests to your property.

Adopt a hive

If you have unused yard space you can donate that space seasonally to beekeepers who would love to partner with you and have their bees benefit from your location. There may be beekeepers near your area who are looking to house their bees in a safe place plantlife nearby.
